LORE ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the LORE mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Camera Data. LORE uses your device's front camera to perform skin analysis. Images are processed on-device and through our secure AI pipeline. We do not store raw facial images on our servers — analysis results (numerical scores and text) are stored, not the photos themselves.

Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile information you provide during onboarding (skin concerns, sensitivities, goals, environment).

Health Data (Pro, optional). If you enable cycle sync, LORE reads menstrual cycle data from Apple HealthKit. This data is processed locally and never shared with third parties.

Usage Data. We collect anonymised usage analytics to improve the app: feature usage, scan frequency, and app performance metrics. We do not sell this data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information exclusively to:

• — Perform AI skin analysis and generate personalised routines
• — Track your skin's progress over time
• — Provide weather-adaptive recommendations (Pro)
• — Anticipate hormonal skin changes (Pro, with HealthKit consent)
• — Improve LORE's AI accuracy and app experience

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption (AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit). Skin analysis results are stored in Firebase with strict access controls. We retain your data for as long as your account is active.

4. Third-Party Services

LORE uses the following third-party services:

• — Google Gemini for AI skin analysis (anonymised data only)
• — RevenueCat for subscription management
• — Firebase for data storage
• — Open Beauty Facts for product ingredient lookups

We do not share identifiable personal data with any third party for advertising purposes.

5. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us through the app. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

LORE is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes in the app.
