By using LORE ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

1. What LORE Is

LORE is an AI-powered skin analysis and routine-building tool. It uses your device's camera and artificial intelligence to analyse visible skin characteristics and provide personalised skincare recommendations.

2. What LORE Is Not

LORE is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. LORE analyses visible skin characteristics only — texture, hydration cues, evenness, visible congestion, redness, and hyperpigmentation. It is not a substitute for professional dermatological advice. If LORE detects something that may warrant medical attention, it will recommend you consult a dermatologist.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use LORE. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to update it as needed. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

LORE offers Free and Pro tiers. Pro is available as an annual ($39.99/year) or monthly ($6.99/month) subscription, managed through Apple's In-App Purchase system. A 7-day free trial is available for new Pro subscribers. Founding Access ($5.99 one-time) grants 1 year of Pro and is limited to 500 users.

Subscription renewal, cancellation, and refunds are governed by Apple's terms and our Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• — Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract LORE's source code or AI models
• — Use LORE for any unlawful purpose
• — Attempt to access other users' data
• — Misrepresent LORE's outputs as professional medical advice
• — Use automated systems to access the App in bulk

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, AI models, and branding in LORE are owned by LORE and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your skin data belongs to you — we claim no ownership over your scan results, photos, or personal information.

8. AI-Generated Content

LORE's recommendations are generated by AI based on visible skin analysis. While we strive for accuracy, AI outputs may occasionally be imprecise. You should use LORE's recommendations as one input in your skincare decisions, not as the sole authority.

9. Limitation of Liability

LORE is provided "as is." We are not liable for any skin reactions, adverse effects, or outcomes resulting from following LORE's recommendations. We do not guarantee specific results. Your use of the App is at your own risk.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app at least 14 days before taking effect.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which LORE operates. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.
